Foldercase is not intended for patient data, clinical systems, medical diagnostics or highly regulated compliance environments requiring certifications such as C5, HIPAA or TISAX.
Designed for organizations, institutions, research networks and companies.
Sensitive regulated data may not be uploaded or processed.
Users are responsible for credentials, access control and uploaded content.
These Terms are governed by German law and institutional compliance requirements.
These Terms govern access to and use of the Foldercase platform and all related software services, collaboration features and organizational mapping functionality.
Access to Foldercase requires a registered user account and appropriate permissions.
Foldercase is not designed for the storage or processing of sensitive regulated data requiring elevated security certifications or regulatory frameworks.
This includes patient data, health records, biometric data, genetic data, payment information, government identification numbers, criminal records, data of minors and comparable highly sensitive information.
Foldercase may only be used for lawful institutional, scientific, organizational and professional collaboration purposes.
Use of Foldercase for academic and research purposes may be provided free of charge unless otherwise agreed.
The following activities are strictly prohibited when using Foldercase.
Foldercase is not represented as a certified high-security or regulated compliance platform.
Foldercase is not intended for environments requiring certifications or frameworks such as HIPAA, TISAX, ISO 27001, C5, SOC 2 or equivalent regulated security standards.
Organizations remain solely responsible for evaluating whether the platform is suitable for their regulatory, operational and legal requirements.
The platform is provided on an ongoing operational basis but without guaranteed uninterrupted availability.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure limitations, security incidents or factors outside reasonable operational control.
The provider reserves the right to modify, expand, restrict or discontinue platform features where necessary for operational, technical, security or legal reasons.
The contents and services provided through Foldercase are made available for organizational, academic and collaborative purposes only. They do not constitute medical, psychological, legal or other professional advice.
The information and platform services are provided to the best of our knowledge and operational capabilities. No guarantee is provided regarding completeness, accuracy, availability or uninterrupted operation of the platform.
Users remain responsible for evaluating the suitability, accuracy and permissibility of all content, projects, collaborations and uploaded information.
To the extent permitted by law, the provider shall not be liable for data loss, service interruptions, unauthorized access, security incidents, indirect damages or damages resulting from the use or temporary unavailability of the platform.
Mandatory statutory liability, including liability for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health, remains unaffected.
Accounts may be temporarily suspended or permanently terminated in cases of security risks, unlawful activity, operational necessity or violations of these Terms.
Users may discontinue use of Foldercase at any time.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
To the extent legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction shall be Mannheim, Germany.
The provider reserves the right to modify, expand, restrict or discontinue platform features where necessary for operational, technical, security or legal reasons.
The provider may update these Terms where necessary for legal, operational, technical or security reasons.
Updated versions become effective upon publication on the platform unless otherwise required by law.
